When season 4 goes into production
According to Variety, season 4 is set to begin production in April 2026. Like previous seasons, the show will introduce a brand-new group of wealthy guests and overworked hotel staff. Expect simmering power struggles, awkward encounters, and the series’ signature commentary on privilege and personal chaos. Filming is expected to continue until late October 2026, setting the stage for another visually striking season.
New cast members joining the ensemble
Casting announcements have been revealed in phases. The first confirmed names were AJ Michalka and Alexander Ludwig. Michalka brings both music and acting experience to the show, while Ludwig is widely known for his roles in The Hunger Games and Vikings.In January 2026, Steve Coogan joined the cast, adding major star power. He is accompanied by Caleb Jonte Edwards. Later confirmations included Helena Bonham Carter, Marissa Long, and Chris Messina, further strengthening the already eclectic ensemble.
Will any familiar faces return?
One of the show’s biggest surprises in the past has been the return of characters from earlier seasons. Jennifer Coolidge, Natasha Rothwell, and Jon Gries all reappeared in unexpected ways.
