With Royal Rumble 2026 just hours away, a surprise name has surged to the top of an unexpected betting category—shortest stay in the match. And it’s none other than the current favorite to win the whole thing: Roman Reigns.
According to Oddschecker, 36% of all bets placed in the last 24 hours for the “Shortest Stay” market have gone toward Reigns making a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance. Despite sitting at 25/1 odds and only a 4% implied chance, Reigns is dominating the betting action—far outpacing names like R-Truth (5/1, 34% of bets) and The Miz (4/1, 20%).
Oddschecker spokesman Chris Rogers reacted to the shift in action:
“With Royal Rumble 2026 just hours away, we have seen a dramatic shift in the shortest stay betting split. The bookmakers’ favourite to win in Saudi, Roman Reigns, has been strongly backed for the shortest stay over the last 24 hours with 36% of bets backing ‘First Class’ for a swift visit to the ring. At 25/1, could a shock exit be on the cards?”
Here are the current shortest stay odds:
- The Miz – 4/1 (20% implied)
- R-Truth – 5/1 (17% implied)
- Grayson Waller – 6/1 (14% implied)
- Roman Reigns – 25/1 (4% implied) – but leads all wrestlers in betting volume over the last 24 hours
It’s a stunning twist, especially considering Reigns is widely viewed as a top contender to win the entire Rumble in Saudi Arabia. Whether fans are trolling, betting on chaos, or sensing a swerve, the numbers don’t lie—many are expecting a fast exit for the “Tribal Chief.”
