Actor Ram Charan and his wife, Upasana Konidela, have become parents to twins, a boy and a girl. Ram’s father and veteran actor Chiranjeevi Konidela shared the news on social media. He even updated fans that both the children and the mother were fine. Upasana had announced her second pregnancy in October 2025, following which the family hosted a grand baby shower function.
Sharing the news, an elated grandfather, Chiranjeevi, wrote, “With immense joy and a heart full of gratitude, we are happy to share that @AlwaysRamCharan and @upasanakonidela have been blessed with twins – a baby boy and a baby girl. Both the babies and the mother are healthy and doing well. Welcoming these little ones into our family is a moment of pure joy and divine blessing for us as grandparents. We sincerely thank everyone for their prayers, love, blessings and good wishes – Chiranjeevi & Surekha (sic).”

Since then, the couple has been showered with congratulatory messages from friends and colleagues.
Tollywood star Ram got married to Upasana, Vice-Chairperson of Apollo Charity, in June 2012 after getting engaged in December 2011. The two had been friends for years before their relationship turned romantic and eventually led to marriage. Upasana is the granddaughter of Apollo Hospitals founder Prathap C Reddy, while Ram is the son of megastar Chiranjeevi.
