The second single from Peddi, titled “Rai Rai Raa Raa,” featuring Ram Charan, was recently released and is receiving a mixed response from fans. While the song is energetic and works as a celebratory introduction number for Ram Charan’s character, the choreography has unexpectedly become the main talking point.
The track has decent beats and vibe, which fits perfectly as a hero introduction song. However, many viewers feel the dance steps designed by choreographer Jani Master seem tailored more for social media virality than for cinematic impact. Several fans pointed out that the steps look like they were created mainly to trend on Instagram Reels and short-form video platforms rather than to enhance the storytelling within the film.

One of the major backlashes is that the choreography focuses heavily on camera-facing movements. Instead of large, expansive dance routines typically seen in mass hero songs, the steps appear simplified and designed for vertical mobile viewing. This style makes it easier for fans and influencers to recreate the hook step and upload their own short videos online, increasing the chances of the song going viral.
Because of this approach, some viewers feel the choreography lacks originality and emotional connection with the film’s narrative. The dance looks more like a standalone promotional clip rather than an organic part of the movie’s storytelling.
Despite generating massive views online, the song has not created the same excitement as the film’s first single “Chikiri.” Even some die-hard fans feel the track is slightly underwhelming. However, many believe the song could still work better when experienced on the big screen as part of the film’s story.
