When and where to watch Oscars 2026 in India?
The 98th edition of the Academy Awards will take place on March 15, 2026, at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Because of the time difference, viewers in India will be able to watch the ceremony in the early hours of March 16, with the broadcast starting at 4:30 AM IST. The live telecast will begin with the glamorous red carpet arrivals, followed by the main awards ceremony.
Indian audiences can watch the Oscars live through the streaming platform JioHotstar. The event will also be broadcast on television via Star Movies at the same time.
Priyanka’s appearance at the Oscars comes soon after her presence at the Golden Globes earlier this year. At the ceremony, she presented an award alongside K-pop star Lisa, who recently made her acting debut in the popular series The White Lotus. Their appearance together created a buzz online and highlighted Priyanka’s continuing influence in international entertainment circles.
The Oscars ceremony this year will feature a long list of presenters from across the film industry. Apart from Priyanka, Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway and Paul Mescal, several other well-known actors will also take the stage to present awards. The lineup includes Adrien Brody, Mikey Madison, Kieran Culkin and Zoe Saldaña, who were among last year’s winners and are expected to present trophies in acting categories.
Hollywood stars such as Chris Evans, Javier Bardem, Demi Moore and Kumail Nanjiani are also part of the list of presenters announced ahead of the ceremony.The ceremony will be hosted by comedian and television personality Conan O’Brien, who is expected to bring his trademark humour and wit to the stage. With major film stars presenting awards and some of the biggest movies of the year competing for honours, the Oscars 2026 promises to be a star-studded celebration of cinema.
