Today, Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana, inaugurated Netflix’s Eyeline Studios VFX hub in Hyderabad. The facility will primarily handle the post-production and VFX work for Netflix’s global and regional projects. Netflix venturing into Hyderabad will enhance the city’s appeal as a rapidly developing hub for post-production facilities.
The arrival of a global player like Netflix will likely invite more collaborations and increase employment opportunities. The Eyeline Studios facility will span 30,000 square feet and include state-of-the-art infrastructure. The inauguration ceremony was also graced by Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Netflix representatives, Rana Daggubati, and Dil Raju.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed his contentment with the city’s rapid progress in both technology and cinema. He stated that Netflix coming to Hyderabad feels as though Hollywood itself has arrived in the city. The facility marks Netflix’s second-largest office in India, behind only Mumbai.
