‘Maamla Legal Hai’ is officially returning with season 2, bringing back its loud arguments, bizarre cases and laugh-out-loud courtroom moments. Ravi Kishan reprises his role as the quirky VD Tyagi in the fictional Patparganj court, while Kusha Kapila joins the madness this time around.
Streamer confirms return with teaser
The streamer announced the show’s comeback as part of its 2026 content lineup and followed it up with a teaser offering a glimpse of the chaos ahead. Sharing the teaser, the makers wrote, “Order order! Patparganj court is back in session. Watch Maamla Legal Hai Season 2, coming soon, only on Netflix.” The brief clip promises sharper humour, stranger cases and even louder courtroom drama. Nearly two years after the first season, the series is ready to reopen files that are anything but ordinary.
Ravi Kishan steps into the judge’s chair
Season 2 takes an interesting turn as Ravi Kishan’s VD Tyagi now dons the judge’s robe. The shift in power brings a fresh set of challenges, with Tyagi balancing authority and absurdity while dealing with unpredictable lawyers and even stranger clients. Staying true to its tone, the show once again uses humour to highlight the everyday chaos inside the courtroom. With new cases and higher stakes, the second instalment promises double the confusion and double the fun, all within the familiar Patparganj court.
Cast and creative team raise expectations
Alongside Ravi Kishan and Kusha Kapila, the new season features a mix of returning and fresh faces, including Nidhi Bisht, Naila Grrewal, Anant Joshi, Anjum Batra and Dinesh Lal Yadav.
