Mega Power Star Ram Charan is gearing up to entertain audiences with the sports action drama Peddi. The film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, was initially announced for a March 27 release, but was later postponed to April 30.
However, rumors have been making noise on social media that the movie might be postponed once again. With the announcement of the second single, the makers have reiterated the release plan. The latest we hear is that 80% of the shoot has been wrapped up, with a couple of songs and a few talkie portions left to be filmed.
The team is determined to work round the clock throughout March to bring the film to theatres on the promised date. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, the film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. A. R. Rahman is composing the music. Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani play key roles.
