Dhurandhar OTT release update: When and where to watch Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna’s biggest blockbuster of 2025 online?

It has been more than a month since Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller Dhurandhar hit the big screens, and the film shows no signs of slowing down. Released on December 5, the high-octane entertainer has continued to draw audiences to theatres across India and overseas, even as newer releases arrive every week. Featuring a power-packed ensemble that includes Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R Madhavan, the film has emerged as one of the biggest successes of 2025. With a reported India collection of Rs 829.40 crore so far, Dhurandhar has firmly established itself as a box-office juggernaut. Now, its gearing up for digital release.

Streaming details of Dhurandhar

According to OTTplay report, Dhurandhar is preparing to make its much-anticipated digital debut. As per updates shared, the Ranveer Singh starrer is expected to begin streaming on Netflix from January 30, giving viewers another chance to experience the spy thriller from the comfort of their homes.
Industry trackers have noted that the makers timed the OTT release carefully, allowing the film to maximise its theatrical potential first. Report by 123Telugu suggests that the team had initially explored releasing dubbed versions of Dhurandhar in southern markets.

However, due to the heavily packed release calendar during the Christmas season, suitable theatrical slots were reportedly unavailable. As a result, the idea of a dubbed theatrical release was dropped, and the focus shifted entirely to a digital rollout.

The OTT deal itself has attracted major attention within the industry. According to Sacnilk, the producers of Dhurandhar have signed one of the most lucrative digital rights agreements for a Hindi film. The report states that Netflix has acquired the streaming rights not only for Dhurandhar (2025) but reportedly also for its sequel, Dhurandhar 2 (2026), in a combined deal valued at approximately Rs 130 crore. This agreement is being seen as a major milestone for Ranveer Singh.
At the box office, Dhurandhar has delivered impressive numbers across territories. The Aditya Dhar directorial has reportedly earned around Rs 826.41 crore nett in India alone, while its global gross has crossed Rs 1,283.5 crore.
Beyond its current success, the Dhurandhar franchise already has fans looking ahead. Dhurandhar 2 will see Ranveer Singh reprise his role as Hamza Ali Mazhari. The sequel will also feature several familiar faces, including Arjun Rampal and R Madhavan, along with Danish Pandor, Sara Arjun, Saumya Tandon, Rakesh Bedi and Gaurav Gera in key roles. Scheduled for release on March 19, the next instalment is expected to build on the strong foundation laid by the first film.
Today (January 23), Aditya Dhar dismissed the reports that the teaser has been attached to Border 2 theatrical release and wrote on his Instagram Story, “Teaser will be out in a few days.”
