She channels her emotions through anonymous online poetry, borrowing words written by Kausar Munir to express feelings she struggles to voice aloud.Her journey unfolds alongside her closest friends and bandmates, Robo and DJ Psycho. Together, they navigate creativity, doubt, and ambition. Across eight episodes, the narrative explores how small choices, shared art, and human connection gradually help Mariam find confidence and clarity.

Actor, co-creator, and co-writer Swanand Kirkire described Bandwaale as a story shaped by real-life observations.
