A few years ago, Sivakarthikeyan reached the peak stage of his career with consecutive hits, but his last two outings, Madharaasi and Parasakthi, turned out to be flops at the box office. Especially Parasakthi was termed a largely boring film.
Amid these setbacks, Sivakarthikeyan opened up about his next project while interacting with the media. He said, “We have locked the content, director, and producer for my next film. The official announcement is coming soon. Definitely, it will be a film that the audience has been expecting from me. It will be liked by all age group audiences, including kids and elders.”
Tentatively titled SK26, the project will be directed by Sivakumar. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will bankroll it under the banner of Raja Kamal Films International. This is the second collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and Kamal Haasan after the blockbuster Amaran. We need to wait and see if the star actor can redeem himself with this flick.
