Amid reports that Dhanush and Mrunal Thakur are all set to marry, a new video has surfaced on social media, which has left netizens guessing if the two stars have already tied the knot. While some believe that the wedding must have happened secretly, let’s find the truth behind the viral video.
Dhanush Marries Mrunal Thakur?
The viral video shows Dhanush and Mrunal Thakur getting married in a traditional South Indian ceremony. While Dhanush is seen sporting a white-coloured veshti (dhoti) with a gold border with a matching shirt, Mrunal looks the prettiest in a maroon saree. In the clip, superstars Thalapathy Vijay, Dulquer Salmaan and Ajith Kumar can also be seen. Among others, music composer Anirudh Ravichander nd actresses Trisha and Shruti Haasan can also be seen attending the wedding ceremony.

Viral Video Is AI-Generated
However, a closer look at the video reveals that it is not real and is rather AI-generated. Reacting to the clip, one of the users took to the comments section and claimed that Ajith was in Dubai on the said date.
Dhanush, Mrunal Not Getting Married
Earlier this month, a report by Free Press Journal claimed that the couple is planning to tie the knot on Valentine’s Day (February 14) this year. The report further claimed that Dhanush and Mrunal’s alleged wedding would be a private ceremony, attended by close family members and friends.
However, a source close to the stars later dismissed wedding speculations and told HT City, “Mrunal is not getting married next month. This is a rumour that has caught wind for no reason.”
