The globally recognized K-pop group BTS has in a very official way declared their world tour for the years 2026-27, which has been highly awaited, thereby making it their first tour as a complete group since they came back from mandatory military service. The tour will include a visit to 34 cities around the world with very promising shows already planned, which is a total of 79. This announcement has raised the level of excitement and anticipation of ARMY fans all around the globe, and BTS is getting ready to deliver new music and live acts to the audience after a long break.
Tour Dates and Opening Venues
According to various sources, BTS has planned their world tour starting from April 2026, and it will be in South Korea first as a homecoming series. The concerts at Goyang Stadium will take place on April 9, 11, and 12, followed by Tokyo Dome, the famous concert venue in Japan, where they will have two concerts on April 17 and 18. After the opening dates, BTS will keep on touring, first in North America, then Europe, and last in Latin America, all the while showcasing their trademark high-energy performances and set designs that can be seen in the major global venues.
Extensive North American and European Legs
The North American part of the tour is undoubtedly one of the longest ones, containing 28 performances in 12 cities like Tampa, El Paso, Mexico City, Chicago, and Toronto and ending with several nights in Los Angeles. Throughout June and July 2026, BTS will be touring in Europe and performing in the most significant cities, such as Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich, and Paris. Also, the Latin American dates are coming up with concerts taking place in Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil throughout October. Such an extensive craze reveals the global attraction of BTS and the huge extent of their comeback tour.
Asia-Pacific Tour Stops and India’s Status
After visiting the Americas and Europe, BTS will tour the Asia-Pacific region from late 2026 to early 2027. Among the cities already confirmed are Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. Still, the current list of confirmed tour stops does not include India. Nevertheless, the management of BTS has announced that more cities would be coming up for announcement in the future, thus making provision for possible inclusions like India in the next phases of the world tour.
Ticket Sales and Booking Information
BTS concerts are going to be attended by fans who will have chances to buy their tickets via presales and general sales. The world tour’s ticket sales are going to start with an exclusive presale for ARMY membership holders on January 22 and 23, and general ticket sales commence on January 24. Though pricing information is not announced yet, previous BTS tours offered a wide variety of tickets, from standard to luxury experiences. The fans are advised to check for the tour updates on BTS’s official channels regularly for the news about ticket prices, tour expansion, and the possible announcement of additional cities and dates for India.
India Excluded from Current Tour Schedule
India has a huge fan base for BTS, yet the country did not make it to the promo tour for 2026-27. The unavailability of Indian cities in the current list has greatly disappointed the local ARMY, especially since K-pop popularity is on the rise in the area. Although BANGTAN and their management have indicated that more cities could be added later, at the moment no official word has been given in connection with India, making it evident that BTS will not be coming to India during this tour.
