Dhurandhar 2 will be streaming on JioHotstar — as unveiled in the theatrical version’s opening credits — which is the spy thriller’s official streaming partner. As for when the Ranveer Singh starrer will arrive on the streaming giant, a theatrical movie’s OTT release traditionally occurs in a six-to-eight week window. Hence, we can expect Dhurandhar: The Revenge to arrive on JioHotstar between April 30 and May 14, 2026. Judging by how Dhurandhar released on Netflix on January 30, 2026, and the predicted box office mayhem, May 14, 2026, is the likelier option. However, neither the makers nor the streaming platform has officially confirmed Dhurandhar 2’s OTT release date.
What is the story of Dhurandhar 2?
*Spoilers Alert* Inspired by real-life events, Dhurandhar 2 will continue post the fateful events of the OG instalment. With Rehman Dakait (Akshaye Khanna) neutralised, Hamza (Ranveer Singh) has been crowned the Lyari King in Karachi, Pakistan. The Indian spy now has his target set on the big fish, the mysterious Bade Sahab, as well as Major Iqbal (Arjun Rampal), the mastermind behind the horrific 26/11 terrorist attack in Mumbai. We also travel to the past to find out how Jaskirat Singh Rangi — a death row inmate turned covert operative, enlisted by DIB Ajay Sanyal (R Madhavan) for Mission Dhurandhar, India’s first such espionage operation — became Hamza Ali Mazari. Dhurandhar 2 also stars Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi in pivotal roles.
