SPOILER ALERT! The ending of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge takes a quiet and emotional turn. Ranveer Singh’s Hamza Ali Mazari finishes his mission in Pakistan and returns to India. As he regains his identity as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, what happens to him afterwards? Let’s find out.
What Happens To Ranveer Singh’s Hamza Ali Mazari?
After completing his high-risk mission in Pakistan, Hamza finally returns to India and meets Ajay Sanyal (played by R Madhavan). However, before he can officially brief authorities about his operation, he makes an unexpected decision and walks away. Hamza travels to Pathankot to see his family. He is seen dressed as Jaskirat, wearing a turban, as he watches his mother and sister from a distance. Even though he tries to approach them at first, he takes a U-turn and leaves the place without meeting his loved ones.
In this scene, Aditya Dhar’s directorial highlights changes in Hamza’s life and reflects on the emotional cost of his journey. While Hamza is close to his home, he still finds himself not part of his family’s life. Therefore, he decides to walk away without meeting his family.
We do not know where Jaskirat goes from here or who he meets. Aditya Dhar leaves the future of his protagonist open-ended. Some might argue that this must have been done to hint at another sequel, it should be noted that no official announcement has been made regarding Dhurandhar 3 as of now.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge Reviews
With a strong opening and positive word of mouth, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is off to a promising start at the box office, and all eyes are now on how it sustains in the coming days.
News18 Showsha gave Ranveer Singh starrer a 3.5-star rating. “Despite its scale and ambition, Dhurandhar 2 feels slightly weaker in comparison to the original film, which was released in December 2025. While the sequel amps up action and visual spectacle, it misses the tighter storytelling that made the first film a blockbuster. Certain subplots, like the underdeveloped romance and limited use of key characters, dilute its impact. The pacing also feels uneven, with portions that could have been skipped. Even some thematic elements appear forced, making the narrative less organic. As a result, despite its highs, the sequel doesn’t quite match the original’s overall effectiveness,” a part of our review reads.
