Ram Charan’s Peddi was initially scheduled for release on March 27, 2026, but was later pushed to April 30, 2026, as shooting is still underway. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead.
While fans are eagerly awaiting an update on the second single, rumours of another postponement have been circulating online. Speculation suggests that the film might be pushed to June 2026, and the chatter has left many fans confused.
However, there is no truth to these rumours. Peddi is set to release in theatres on April 30, 2026, as previously announced. The makers are expected to reiterate this with the release of the second single, titled “Rai Rai Rara.”
Apart from the lead pair, the film features an ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu Sharma, Boman Irani, Jagapathi Babu and Satya. Vriddhi Cinemas is producing the film on a grand scale, with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings presenting this AR Rahman musical. More updates are expected in the coming weeks.
