With the slasher film Cult, Vishwak Sen returns to the director’s chair. Today, the makers launched the film’s teaser at an event in Hyderabad. Vishwak Sen and the team already informed audiences that the teaser is R-rated and cautioned viewers about the brutal violence.
As described, the teaser is extremely violent and filled with gory bloodshed. Three youngsters living in Goa attend a party, but little do they know about the havoc that is set to be unleashed there. The party attendees are asked to participate in a game, and whoever loses will be eliminated without mercy.
The teaser shows mutated body parts and flying heads, among other violent imagery. The dosage of violence is very high, and it might be disturbing for adults, too. Amid the chaos, Vishwak Sen enters, fights some goons, and is introduced as the game master. What’s the game about? Why are people getting killed? What is the role of Vishwak Sen? The answers will be known soon.
The movie also stars Gayatri Bharadwaj, Tarak Ponnapa, Murali Sharma, Srikanth Iyengar, Karthikeya, Anirudh Bhaskar, Ezy, Yagnya Turlapati, Kabeer Bhartiya, Vishak Nair, and Chepuri Vivek in key roles. The film is produced by Tarak Cinemas and Vanmaye Creations, with music composed by Ravi Basrur.
