After Varanasi, MM Keeravaani May Compose Music for Another Mythological Epic

Oscar-winning music composer MM Keeravaani’s current focus is on Varanasi, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus that is currently in the making with Mahesh Babu. The movie is a blend of fantasy and mythology, but not sci-fi, as confirmed by the visionary director. MM Keeravaani is now reportedly on board to score the music for another mythological fantasy film.

According to ongoing reports, the veteran composer has been locked in to provide music for Jai Hanuman, the sequel to the blockbuster Hanu-Man. Rishab Shetty will headline the film, and Prasanth Varma is directing it.

If these rumours hold true, it will be a big addition to the project, as it is expected to release only after Varanasi. By then, MM Keeravaani will be even more globally renowned, which will help Jai Hanuman gain wider global attention. An official statement from the makers is expected to clarify these rumours.

Rana Daggubati is also said to be part of this pan-Indian big-budget film, which is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Stay tuned for more information, as the movie is gearing up for a grand launch in Hampi on February 22, 2026.
