Now, the makers have officially announced that Kennedy will release on an OTT platform, giving audiences a long-awaited reason to celebrate.

Makers reveal the OTT platform

The announcement came through an official post shared by the makers on social media. Revealing the digital release, the caption read, “Darker, deadlier, and undeniably Kashyap. The world-celebrated story of Kennedy is finally coming home on ZEE5 #Kennedy, the most awaited film premieres 20th Feb, only on #ZEE5″. Fans also reacted. One of the fans wrote, “finally”.The post instantly caught attention and sparked fresh conversations online.

Abhilash Thapliyal on Kennedy’s delayed release

Earlier, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Abhilash Thapliyal opened up about the uncertainty around the film’s release. He said, “There is just one person who can answer this, it is Anurag (Kashyap) sir. I am sure Kennedy will be out soon for the world, for the audiences to see. It is an amazing film. We took it to Cannes last year. It was a very proud moment for all of us.” His words reflected patience and belief in the project.

Working with Anurag Kashyap feels special

Abhilash also spoke about the privilege of collaborating with Anurag Kashyap. He shared, “Having Anurag Kashyap as a director in your IMDb list is a big thing for any actor. I am lucky to have him as a director. I don’t know when will Kennedy be out but I hope it comes out soon and people get to see the Anurag Kashyap magic one more time,” highlighting the creative impact Kashyap has on actors.
